Abstract :
Urbanization and environmental change by human activities, change permeable surfaces into impermeable that causes many problems such as lack of infiltration and consequently lack of groundwater recharge, creating and increasing runoff. Permeable surfaces due to their permeability and usability as a replacement for conventional pavements can be an appropriate solution to this problem. To investigate the influence of Pervious Pavement (PP) to help resolve this problem, four scenarios considered, and we tried to find an optimum area of PP in each sub-basin in the study area with the objective function of minimizing the runoff using an innovative model. Based on the results of the model, it was found that the PP system had a significant effect on reducing runoff and increasing permeability.
