Abstract :
This review is focused specifically on the synthesis routes and applications of gold nanoparticles. Nanoscience has become one of the most interesting and advanced areas of research. Among nanoparticles, gold nanoparticles demonstrate special advantages in this field due to their unique properties such as high surface area-to-volume ratio and small size. These particles have been widely used in various applications and systems such as biomedical, thermal science, electronic and sensor and etc due to their inert nature, stability, high dispersity, non-cytotoxicity, special thermal and electrical properties and compatibility.
