Abstract :
There are several effective ways to convey information such that no one can notice. Steganography is a science whose concept has long been used to convey secret information and it is still widely used today. Most intelligent services use similar methods to convey their secret information. In this study, we discuss the capacity and security of steganography by using LZW compression technique and color encoding method. Our proposed techniques use email sending platform for secret hiding. This algorithm first compresses the secret data and then sends it to email addresses and hides email message. Secret data bits use color encoding table to make the message (or cover text) colorful and in this way, they are embedded in the message. Experimental results indicate that our proposed method not only has a high embedding capacity, but also it reduces computational complexities. In addition, security of the proposed method improves to 14.43 by using hidden keys. Superiority of this method is experimentally confirmed by comparing it to the available techniques which have been developed recently.
