Abstract :
Nowadays, more efforts are being made to distribute nano particles in polymers for better properties of nanocomposites. In this study, the functional groups of graphene oxide surface at three different concentrations of 0.01, 0.02 and 0.03 were investigated by spectroscopy device and oxygenated factors such as COOH, NO2, CO2 and OH were identified. By adding polyvinyl alcohol to this solution, the resulting main peak and small peak are shifted in the graph resulting from the change in the energy level of the substrate π * and π. It eventually led to the formation of more functional groups on the graphene oxide surface and more interaction of graphene oxide with the solution. Better nano dispersion in the solution will be achieved if we test and ultimately leads to the production of nanocomposites with a more uniform distribution of nanostructures.
