Abstract :
Review : The Khajou Bridge has been built since late Timurid and was built today by King Abbas II in 1060. In the middle of the bridge was built a temporary building for the temporary residence of Shah Safavi and his family (known as Berberya), which still exists and its arches are decorated with paintings. Paul Khaju s name is a distortion of the word (eunuch), named for the elders and eunuchs of the Safavid era. The bridge is located at the east end of Kamal Ismail Esfahani Street and the southern end of Khajou Street. According to archaeologists, the bridge was built on a bridge that already existed and was destroyed. The building, the timing, and the quality of the bridge have been variously written about the construction of the bridge, but what seems to be a good description is that the author of the history of the Isfahan Historical Building is writing about it and hence the text is quoted exactly. At the eastern end of Kamal Ismail Avenue and the southern end of Khajou Street, which leads to the Throne of Steel (Isfahan Cemetery) and Yazd Road, the beautiful and historic Khajou Bridge is located - on the ruins of Hassan Bek Bridge by King Abbas II of Safavid Built in the year (1065 AH). The European traveler Taronieh wrote that on the two sides of the bridge there are two houses owned by the king, and the river has no bed of this beauty anywhere, since this place is the happiest place to the extent of King Abbas. He was forced to build the bridge, and because of the gibberes across the river, they were made to shorten the road to Chahar Bagh, with a history of 1057 to 1077 AH. It was also called Hassan Beek when the bridge was completed. The bridge, which is 133 meters long and 12 meters wide and 7.5 meters wide, has 21 bricks and 26 springs. As a dam, this bridge is remarkably architectural and extremely beautiful, consisting of four storeys and 51 large and small booths on either side of the upper passage on either side. The length of the rocks exceeds two meters and the span of each fountain is 20 meters in front of each roof and wall. It is. (Writer)
