Abstract :
Manner of curing the repair system applied to the old concrete has a significant effect on the adhesion strength of the repair layer to the old concrete because the drying shrinkage can create residual shear stresses at the boundary between the repair layer and the old concrete and significantly reduce the adhesion value. Therefore, this paper investigates the tensile adhesion strength between cement-based repair mortar and concrete substrate use pull-off method. Failure to curing, results in increased shrinkage and decrease tensile adhesion between repair system and old concrete in higher ages and even the removal of repair mortar from the concrete substrate.
Keywords : pull-off bond concrete mortar.
