Abstract :
The adhesion between the repair system and the old concrete is one of the main factors for the successful performance of a repair layer. Therefore, this paper investigates the effect of curing on bond strength between cement-based repair mortar and concrete substrate. Curing used include submerged in water , with curing agent and releasing in exterior space. The bond strength was determined using friction-transfer method. The results indicate that the curing provides better adhesion between the repair mortar and the concrete substrate and can prevent separation at their joint boundary.
