Abstract :
Abstract Plastic concrete is a type of concrete that is used to control seepage under dams, prevent the spread of contaminants in aquifers, build sealing walls, create temporary underground structures and…. This type of concrete has a lower elastic coefficient compared to ordinary concrete and due to its plasticity, its ductility is very high. It should be noted that ordinary concrete with a high modulus of elasticity to the surrounding materials will have problems such as brittle sealing wall under the influence of dynamic stresses, so to solve this problem has been used plastic concrete because by adding a certain percentage from clay (bentonite) to plastic concrete materials reduces the hardness of concrete and also reduces the elasticity of concrete and increases the ductility of concrete. In this article, we have introduced and studied the properties and characteristics of plastic concretes. Also, the uses and applications of these concretes and their constituents have been studied. Key words: Plastic concrete, Bentonite Concrete, applications, characteristics.
