Abstract :
Abstract Despite the great progress that has been made in the construction of buildings with new materials, wood is one of the materials that is still used for the construction of buildings. Wood is one of the first natural materials that people have learned how to use, and its popularity has never waned over time. This product is available in all parts of the world and is relatively reasonably priced or can even be used for free. If you use wood in the construction and strengthening of structures, you will see that unlike mortar, wood can withstand tensile and compressive forces. Wooden structures are light in weight and therefore have good resistance to earthquakes. It should be noted that these structures are weak against fire and insects, and special measures must be taken to address these problems. The use of wooden structures is currently common in developed countries such as the United States, Canada, etc. Simple wooden structures can create a more natural look in the home and the surrounding area with their simplicity and at the same time their applications, in addition to creating a beauty. It should also be borne in mind that a simple wooden structure, in spite of its applications, has a relatively lower construction cost than other structures and beautiful designs and patterns can be created on it. But due to the cellular structure is extremely durable and lasts for hundreds or even thousands of years. In this article, wooden structures and their characteristics and applications are studied.
