Abstract :
Abstract The development of knowledge has led to the introduction of new materials for the construction of various structures. Old materials are being replaced by new materials in terms of high energy consumption for production, high efficiency, limited uses, etc. Polymers are among these new materials that can be used in the manufacture of concrete. Polymer concrete has many applications due to its high resistance to all kinds of pressures, to its chemical and durable properties. It is a type of resin concrete made from a polymeric binder. Polymers used in polymer concrete are intended for repair and use in industrial structures. This study introduces these materials based on the specific properties of polymer concrete, such as the ability to make thin films, fast processing, easy polishing and usability in thinning. Key words: Concrete, Polymer concrete, Cement, Processing, Resistance.
