Abstract :
Considering the use of agricultural wells for drinking by farmers, it is necessary to be aware of the water quality of the mentioned areas and according to the absence of these studies in Mahabad Ardestan, The aim of this study was investigation the chemical quality and microbial sources of groundwater requirements in the area. In this regard, out of one hundred and ten wells covered by agricultural jihad, seven wells in four geographical directions of the city Mahabad, which was used for agriculture, was randomly selected and sampled. Then, various physicochemical parameters such as electrical conductivity, acidity, turbidity, temperature, calcium, magnesium and other major ions were measured, Then, the results were compared with the standards provided by the World Organization and the National Standard of Iran for drinking purposes. Based on the test results, the southern regions, especially the southeast, have a more inadequate quality in most of the case parameters Measurements due to the geological structure of the region, including placement on gypsum formations and gypsum melting and proximity to industrial pollution centers can be attributed. For drinking purposes, use the water of Kermani wells, Qaleh Gosheh and Hassanabad well does not seem suitable in terms of microbial parameters. However, all three mentioned wells had low microbial load and are considered non-pathogenic. In terms of chemical parameters, the use of wells water Qaleh gosheh and Damdari in the face Measures such as the use of a purifier can also be safe for drinking. Also, the quality of groundwater resources in the region is evaluated in terms of microbes, appropriate and good. In addition, industrial effluents and the use of chemical fertilizers are factors that affect the quality of groundwater in the area.
