Abstract :
Bungee jumping is an amusement ride which has been used in almost two decades but it has a limited appeal because of the fear involved in climbing and jumping from a tall structure. To lessen this fear, a modified version of the sport evolved, called reverse bungee jumping, which takes place mainly from cranes .in this article the advantages and safety of reverse bungee would be reviewed and analyzed with Finite Element Method (FEM) to come up with the results to check if is safe to be used or not. The 3D FE model is developed using the ANSYS commercial FE code. Results showed that Bungee jumping structure modeled has appropriate safety factor.
