Abstract :
In this paper, cathodic active material (NMC) with non-stoichiometric composition Li1.2 (Ni0.13Mn0.54Co0.13) 02 is synthesized by co-precipitation method to increase capacity and prevent capacity loss in long cycles and long life. For this purpose, the cathodic precursor was synthesized as hydroxide by Ni0.3Mn0.5Co composition using co-precipitation process and then lithium was added with different amounts of lithium hydroxide (LiOH) to affect the amount of excess lithium in Lix(Ni0.13Mn0.54Co0.13) 02 Investigate the electrochemical properties of the cathode. The phases formed in the synthetic active substance were identified by XRD. Examination of the surface of the cathodic material, surface morphology, was performed by scanning microscopy electron imaging (SEM). Obtain the capacity of the cathodic active substance synthesized by the Autolab potentiostat device. The results of battery charge-discharge tests for the synthesized sample indicate that the sample Li1.2(Ni0.13Mn0.54Co0.13)02 is well synthesized and has a capacity of 160 mAh / g.
