Abstract :
Today, due to the abundance of cars and the increase in the consumption of fossil fuels in them and, consequently, the increase in air pollution, global warming has created many problems for the world. The number of cars that use hydrocarbon fuels is the main cause of these problems. Today, the solution to this problem is the ubiquity of electric vehicles, which have lower fossil fuel consumption and pollution. Lithium batteries are used as a new and rechargeable energy storage source in electric vehicles. One of the most important parameters to calculate the battery is their charge level. Various methods have been used to simulate battery performance. Linear models have low accuracy, while nonlinear models can be used to achieve proper accuracy in simulating batteries. In this article, we will simulate a lithium-ion battery. Since chemical processes have nonlinear behavior, a model based on nonlinear circuits is used to simulate them. In this paper, the lithium ion battery model is simulated using MATLAB. In the proposed model, temperature changes are affected. In order to investigate the output characteristics of the battery, the results of the simulations are performed to observe the changes in the final output voltage of the battery under temperature.
