Abstract :
Educational evaluation is one of the curriculum elements that should be included in every educational process. Today, the role and function of evaluation as one of the most important elements of any educational system has been noticed by experts and practitioners in this field. The existence of quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods is one of the necessities that teachers at the primary level are required to implement in the educational processes and classrooms. In the meantime, it is necessary to comply with ethical rules and considerations in the evaluation process. Based on this, the current research was conducted with the aim of studying ethical considerations in quantitative and qualitative evaluations of classrooms in elementary school . The current research method is a library-type review. The collected materials are taken from various Persian and Latin research sites such as SID, Science Direct, Scopus, Mogiran, Google Scholar, Humanities Portal and university theses. The keywords of the current research were: definition of evaluation, course evaluation, quantitative evaluation, qualitative evaluation, ethical considerations, ethics in evaluation. The conducted studies show that ethics in evaluation can be considered as a method to be a platform for the realization of evaluation goals. Surely, with the presence and influence of ethics in educational evaluation, the teacher s responsibility, accountability, honesty and frankness will increase, and doubt and injustice in evaluation will decrease. On the other hand, with the influence of human and moral values in educational evaluation, students experience it and as this process continues, they realize its value. Therefore, educational evaluation should be implemented in such a way that all its mechanisms are coordinated and consistent with moral values. In this article, ethical considerations in quantitative and qualitative evaluations are given.
