Designing software for assessing employees mental health

Abstract :
Abstract Introduction: A healthy and balanced society is the one in which people have the mental health and are active in the community. for example, Depression is known as the Disease of the Century, which is one of the most common psychiatric disorders around the world as well as Iran. Research shows that the reason of most of psychiatric disorder is related to mental health and can affect people s performance. on the other hand, during recent years, smart cell phones and software play an important role in the lives of most people in communities, so that with such rapid progress, it has been replaced with a large number of equipment and electronic devices. On the other hand, by considering the serious role of computer in the lives of users, the topic of creating soft wares and Apps becomes hot. The above-mentioned points made us design better tools to assess mental health related disorders. therefore, the aim of the study is to design a software for assessing employees mental health. Methods: Because of the availability of the computers among people, we decide to design the computer-based application for tackling this issue. After consulting with professors in the field of psychology and computer, we designed software by using the C++ programming language. Results: With the production of such software, mental health evaluators can check the level of mental health, career plateau, job burnout, etc. This software can be useful in managers decisions for employee promotion and reward system and more important the management team can have view on the progression of requests & changes in order to reach the desired level of giving service to subscribers.
