Abstract :
Bipolar disorder is one of the most challenging disorders to treat. Treatment options include dietary changes and exercise involving physical activity are inexpensive, safe, and tolerated and can be a useful addition to BD therapy. To investigate each participant s overall level of treatment, the Quality of Life Enjoyment and Satisfaction Questionnaire - Short Form, self-report tools that can be used for assessing the quality of life can be completed by participants via deep analysis of mitochondrial and other factors involved in such patients. This research aims to review some of the academic papers involving the effects of aerobic exercise on patients dealing with bipolar disorder. Finally, the academic papers in writing this research have been considered with a criticizing vision investigating the effect of exercise and especially aerobic exercise concerning patients suffering from major depressive disorders, namely bipolar disorder. Both disorders mentioned above manifested by decreased biogenesis in depression and excess energy generation while having mitochondrial dysfunction and neuroplasticity are thought to be disturbed in BD, giving rise to the possibility that aerobic exercise may improve symptoms of such MDDs.
