Abstract :
The construction of a model submarine has several reasons, one of the most important of which is the preparation of a simulated model in order to conduct field tests. In this article, how to design a two-engine model submarine, and specifically, the submarine, will be discussed. How to provide longitudinal and transverse stability, calculations related to hydrostatics and hydrodynamics, how to provide propulsive power and diving and climbing system are among the most important topics of this article. This vessel has the ability to move to a depth of 8 meters and can patrol the water with a surface speed of 5.7 knots (equivalent to 8.13 km/s) and a subsurface speed of 9 knots (equivalent to 6.16 km/s). The engines used in the submarine have a power of about 2000 watts, which indicates the relatively high power of the vessel. The use of radio control system has caused the submarine to be under control up to a distance of about 10 meters.
