Abstract :
Abstract Torsional stresses are among the stresses that occur a lot in concrete members, especially beams. These cracks, which are created in a spiral and progress, end with a brittle failure of the beam. In this regard, polymer fibers, which are used to strengthen concrete members and reduce the weak points of these members, are very popular and used. In this research, three reinforced concrete beams with different strengthening modes are designed and evaluated in Abaqus software. Key words: torsional stress, torsional crack, reinforced concrete beam.
