Abstract :
Tunnel maintenance is a set of measures and strategies that stop, delay or reduce the deterioration of tunnel components and related systems. Also, the implementation of these repair measures will return the level of tunnel operation to its original level and increase its service life. The purpose of this study is to investigate the application of building information modeling (BIM) in tunnel maintenance management that based on the results of reducing the remaining life of the tunnel, identifying the failure due to the appearance of lining reinforcement, identifying the failure due to water leakage in the tunnel, identifying the failure of groundwater drainage holes around the tunnel, identifying the failure of tunnel roof panels in different situations, identifying failure Flood control and containment gates at the entrance and exit of the tunnel and identification of cracks created in the lining due to tunnel subsidence, have the most role in the application of building information modeling (BIM) in the management of tunnel maintenance.
