Abstract :
Abstract For encountering lateral forces and also earthquake forces, various systems are considered. One of these options is dual systems which includes a combination of moment frame and another resistant system. In this study, non-linear static analysis was utilized on 15, 25 and 40-store samples in the limited element software ABAQUS for investigating various parameters. We considered the samples including two moment frame system in combination with steel shear wall and macro bracings with this assumption that steel consumption rate is equal in both states. The investigated parameters include final strength, elasticity stiffness, yield load, ductility factor, over- strength factor and behavior factor. The results of performed analyses show that generally by increasing the altitude due to more impressment of bending on behavior of steel shear walls system, the rate of reduction of rigidity, ductility and behavior factor in steel shear wall system is more than macro-bracings.
