Abstract :
The present study aimed to investigate VDC technologies and their application for safety in construction and was conducted using descriptive-analytical and library data collection methods. The present study aimed to identify research trends, issues, and the current status of research in VDC for OSH purposes and, and also identified and discussed gaps in research and practice. In keeping with the high volume of work in this type of project and many human resources, their attitude will be practical regarding the safety issue. However, the results revealed that culture in safety is in the next rank. Road construction projects generally involve a high number of new workers. According to the statistics, 25% of construction accidents are related to workers with a month or less work period on the projects. Therefore, training the workforce and creating an appropriate safety culture in worksites lead to work-related injuries reduction. Therefore, an appropriate and harmonized safety culture among the entities playing a role will be critical in a mega project. The research suggestions include; 1- Making a solid project management team to coordinate different sections and trying to avoid interference in the project parts. 2- Coordinate between the project management and the HSE teams in the worksite. 3- Make safety tools and equipment available to everyone working on the worksite.
