Abstract :
Abstract Nanomembranes are natural or artificial structures that have a thickness of less than 100 nm. These particles, as their name suggests, originated from the science of nanotechnology, and it is a branch of this science that has attracted the most attention among them; These particles show innovative and better physical, chemical, and biological properties. A nanomembrane may be any membrane if it consists of a nanostructured material. Nanomembranes have special features such as extremely high surface area to weight ratio, low density, high pore volume, small pore size, stiffness, and higher tensile strength compared to conventional fibers, which have made these materials used in a wide variety of fields. Nanomembranes have various applications including energy harvesting, sensing, optics, plasmonics, and biomedicine. Also, the fibers prepared with this technology called composite nanofibers are suitable for bio-based technology, textiles, filters, and sensors, and one of the advantages of these materials is that due to their properties, they can perform multiple tasks simultaneously. It is economical in the industrial dimension as well.
