Abstract :
The construction industry is undergoing a paradigm shift towards sustainability, driven by the need to mitigate environmental impacts and optimize resource use. Renewable materials, such as hempcrete, bamboo, and recycled metals, are at the forefront of this transition, offering significant advantages over traditional building materials. This article provides an in-depth examination of renewable materials in green construction, focusing on their environmental benefits, practical applications, and the challenges associated with their adoption. Through a detailed analysis of sustainability impacts, technoeconomic challenges, and real-world case studies, this study aims to elucidate how renewable materials can redefine building practices and contribute to sustainable development.
