Abstract :
Restoration and revival of fabric in all its forms and historical periods is rooted in the values derived from the identity and culture of nations. The ability to understand these values is a basic requirement for evaluating the identity of a nation s culture. One of these unique collections, whose restoration shows the cultural identity of the people of Isfahan, and one of the most beautiful examples of Safavid era architecture, is Malik Caravanserai. This caravanserai is one of the historical and identity caravanserai of Isfahan city and is located at the entrance of Isfahan city from Shiraz side, which in ancient times was considered as the last stop for travelers before entering Isfahan city. Therefore, the revival and reconstruction of this caravanserai is very important. Malek Caravanserai can become a historical museum or a symbolic caravanserai because it is located in a relaxing environment and due to its location, it can be suitable for Isfahan. If the ruins are currently being used as a warehouse and are being destroyed, they used to carve tombstones there for a while, which should be taken care of because this caravanserai is in a good location because it is located in the city and if To be restored, there are many capacities for its use.
