Abstract :
In this article the ratio of H2/CO in various technologies for reforming and catalysts has been studied.also the current industrial technologies has been described.these technologies for produce synthesis gas , contain CO,H2,CO2 from natural gas and methane are steam reforming, dry reforming and partial oxidation of methane ( POM ).POM method is interested because it need low temperature for covnerting process and is sufficient for energy saving.catalyst that has been used for reforming are chiefly nickle base but in this work the effects of various supports and metals same as Ru,Rh,Pt has been shown.finally the newest researches for nickle catalyst on different supports and promoters in dry reforming has been reviewed. The results show that Mg and Cobalt are suitable for conversion of methane on the nickle catalyst . Also Ni and Co on Zeolite ( Y ) is as well as Ni-Co-Al2o3-25%Mg-Zr for methane conversion. In this study the effects of specific surface ,temperature and %Mg on CO and H2 yield have been shown in Ni-Co-Al2o3-Mg-Zr catalyst with mathematic equation.
