Abstract :
Quality of life and behavioral changes are the concepts accepted as measures assessing the consequences of treatments for patients suffering from brain stroke. Measuring the quality of life helps researchers have a wider view of patients’ recovery after brain stroke. This study, conducted in Al-Zahra Hospital in Qeshm in spring 2014, investigated the effects of X-Box games on behavioral changes and quality of life in CVA patients suffering from brain stroke. Forty physically disabled patients suffering from brain stroke were selected using random sampling. The intervention group attended 16 training sessions of rehabilitation activities; mean while the control group performed their common activities. At the end of the 16thsession, both groups were given the post-test. The data was analyzed using SPSS and the results revealed that X-Box games had significant effect on patients’ behavioral indices (anxiety, depression) and quality of life, but aggression was an exception
