Abstract :
This article specially focuses on direct torque control (DTC) function by using matrix converter for infusion motor. The matrix converter as a two level converter will be able to use PWM procedures both in Rectification level and Inverter. The matrix converters is a new single stage generation of the direct power converter AC/AC and can contribute to the realization of low volume, sinusoidal input current, bidirectional power flow and lack of bulky reactive elements Due to all these reasons, recently a lot of research has been picked up in the field of matrix converters. And the performance of this converter varies based on the control technique and the different topologies. direct torque and flux control (DTFC) based on indirect space vector modulation ISVM is for induction motor drive and having sine input/output currents in switching frequency constant. DTC technics study makes advantages of matrix converter for induction motor and many other machines practical. An improved modulation (indirect space vector modulation theory or improved matrix converter) with decreased switching attenuation for matrix converter is used and caused to significant lowering of input current harmonics without any adverse effect on output activities or complexity boost of the system. Matrix converters (MC) for their capabilities e.g. power diffusion in two directions, complete input/output sine forms, controllable power ratio, action capability in four quarters and long life is suitable alternative for voltage source inverters with pulse width modulation (ordinary). For effectiveness and validity measurement of the system, Matlab simulation software was used.
