Children in experimental group received metaphor therapy program of eight 45-minute sessions, whereas control group received no treatment. After the therapy sessions finished, the questionnaires were again answered by the educators. For the statistical analysis covariance test were used. Eta=0.92 suggests a significant difference between experimental and control groups in terms of the effectiveness of metaphor therapy in social development. Comparing the mean of social development for children in family-like centers and daycare centers revealed significant difference between the mean of attachment disorder for children in family-like centers and daycare centers.
