چکیده :
"Globalization" and "localization" have been competing terms of opposite extremes in social, economic, scientific and political issues. Some countries highlight localizing knowledge, management, economy etc for the sake of eschewing the drawbacks of globalization. On the other hand, some others follow the ever increasing wave of globalization to take the most advantages of the new perspective advocated by super powers. There are, however, various controversies regarding each of them expressed by the rival opponents of the views. In fact, globalization and localization have their own merits and demerits. The purpose of this paper is two-fold: first, scrutinizing pros and cons of both of them, it suggests avoiding both views. Second, it introduces and elaborates on the concepts of glocalization as the remedy for the organization in the third millennium for human resource management in particular via accentuating advocating such a view.
