UNIT COMMITMENT SOLUTIONS: A SURVEY

Abstract :
To date, a lot of solutions for UC problems have been investigated by the researches. However, Due to the importance of economic issues of the power system designs, high complexity of the modern power systems, and also the huge increase of number of generation units in the systems, finding more efficient solutions are demanded. We classified these solutions in two categorizes: Classic and Intelligence methods. Then, we highlighted some of more update and useful Intelligence methods in details.
