1) An Evaluation of the General English Textbook Used in Kerman Azad University

Abstract :
This study aimed at evaluating the general English textbook Enjoy Reading English used in Kerman Azad University by referring to students attitudes. The 100 participants in this survey represented, a sample of both genders randomly selected from among general English course students studying in different fields. The researcher used an attitude questionnaire (Litz, 2005) consisting of 24 items to evaluate this textbook. The questionnaire consisted of seven criteria for evaluating the textbook. Pearsons correlation coefficient was used to verify the internal consistency of the questionnaire items. Furthermore, the reliability was calculated using Cronbachs Alpha coefficient and it was (0.86), which indicated that the questionnaire had a high degree of reliability for the purposes of this study. The researcher used different statistical approaches to analyze the data. The study results showed that all hypotheses are rejected, which shows that there is a relationship between each variable of the textbook and the learners overall consensus
