Abstract :
In this paper, nanoparticles of lanthanum nickelate substituted with Magnesium (LaNiMgO4), have been successfully synthesized in co-precipitation method assisted by ultrasonic, with surfactant. It is a simple, novel and cost effective method. The obtained products characterized by using techniques such as X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The FT-IR spectra of show absorption bands at 400 to 500 cm-1 that attributed to metal-O stretching vibration and O-metal-O deformation vibration. The structural and functional groups are with using of SEM and FTIR techniques. XRD studies confirm the presence of high degree of crystallinity nature of LaMgNiO4 nanoparticles.
