Dynamic Stability Enhancement in Large Power Systems Using Fuzzy Logic PSS

Abstract :
The power systems are faces to distributions continuously and this is very important that, the system toward instability battle. In small signal analysis, the stabilizers have a strategic roles in reliability and Convergence of the system. There are many stabilizer that is proposed, but stabilization design is significant that have proper operation and quick self-expression in all conditions. In this paper, a power system stabilizer (PSS) is designed based on fuzzy logic for a single-machine power system as well as for a 14-bus and multi-machine power system. By applying three phase fault in line transmission, change in input voltage and also change in input power, can see reaction of the system. Proposed system simulated in Matlab Simulink and the result Certification gives the superiority of the fuzzy controller in various disturbances in both of single machine and multi machine.
