Abstract :
Load flow is one of important tools to utilize by power engineers for planning and control, to specify the best operation for a power distribution system and exchange of power between utility companies. This paper investigates Analysis of Load flow and in actual power distribution system grid of Line 2 of Tehran Metro (Subway) in the presence of non-linear loads. Modelling and simulation of this electrical network system implement in the ETAP (Electrical Transient Analyser Program) software. In load flow analysis, the numerical methods: Newton-Raphson, Gauss-Seidel and Fast Decoupled methods are obtained. The capability and effectiveness of load flow analysis demonstrate according to the simulation results of applying it to the power distribution system of Tehran metro. In a developing country like Iran it is useful that Off-line modelling make which includes active and reactive power flow, current flowing in every branch and etc. of large electrical power system
