Abstract :
The function of a pavement system is based on the factors and parameters that each of them can play a significant role. Between the different layers of the road, the base and sub-base layers are very important. A base layer or sub base consisting of unsaturated grains is highly stable due to the locking and fastening and internal friction between the particles, so unmixed stone materials in the lying base and sub-bases play a very important role in pavement performance. On this basis, it is necessary to examine and recognize the characteristics of pavement materials in an unshakeable way on the basis of the underlying foundation. Therefore, obtaining different parameters of road pavement, such as permeability coefficient in drainage survey, can be a great help in evaluating their performance. In the present study, we tried to determine the permeability coefficient of materials in layers based on the basis and basis, by using a new approach and using the numerical model Flow3D to define the initial parameters of the material. Also, in this study, the change in the percentage of volumetric values of sand aggregates in road pavement is measured on permeability.
