Abstract :
Digital transformation in the banking system has turned the security of financial transactions into one of the most sensitive economic and technological challenges. This study aims to examine the relationship between emerging banking technologies and the level of transaction security, and to demonstrate how intelligent monitoring models and multi-layer authentication mechanisms can safeguard customers’ information and strengthen financial trust. The central research question is: what relationship exists between the types of technologies employed in the banking system and the level of security and customer trust? In terms of purpose, this research is applied, and in terms of methodology, it adopts a mixed (qualitative–quantitative) approach. Data analysis is conducted using analytical and descriptive methods; findings extracted from authoritative sources are classified, compared, and interpreted to clarify the relationship between technology types and transaction security levels. The results indicate that banks utilizing artificial intelligence technologies for suspicious behavior detection and dynamic encryption for data protection have established significantly higher levels of financial security. Furthermore, the findings suggest that integrating policymaking functions with technological units can reduce the gap between regulation and implementation. Ultimately, the study proposes that developing an integrated framework for banking information security represents the first essential step toward building sustainable customer trust and enhancing the stability of financial transactions.
