Abstract :
Time in Aristotelian philosophy is the counting of movement in relation to forward and backward ; a platform for change and emergence of existence. Architecture is experienced over time; materials become obsolete and buildings become in tune with the environment. Architecture establishes a link between the past (tradition) and the future by responding to the needs of each era. A building that is not suspended in time will soon lose its function and become devoid of meaning. Architecture is the binding of time in the body of space. The problem is that despite the importance of time in the field of architecture, many of the mutual relations between time and architecture have not been properly clarified. This article, which was written using the method of qualitative studies and from the perspective of content analysis, attempts to show the architect s determination in choosing which of the architectural approaches is closer to the meaning-making of architecture.
