Abstract :
Abstract Historical buildings are one of the main sources of ancient culture and civilization of any society, which are derived from the beliefs, customs and culture of each time period, and are also the historical and cultural support of future generations, which have been damaged and destroyed with the passage of time. And little by little they are forgotten. One of the most important ways to revive and revive these works and preserve their historical identity is to change their use, which can be used to a large extent to restore and dynamize this building in order to preserve their national and historical value. Zaravchi House is one of these valuable buildings in the old context of Tehran city, which dates back to the late Qajar period.This building has suffered severe deterioration over time and is on the verge of destruction. The purpose of this project is to extract the components of multi-sensory architecture as a regenerating factor of the space and change its use in order to preserve the cultural authenticity of the building. Because the reconstruction of the interior of this building, in addition to preventing possible destruction, also brings the context of revitalizing its cultural identity compared to its historical period.The method used to achieve the goals set in this research is descriptive and it has been tried to obtain the desired information through library studies as well as field studies, including: taking pictures of the building, photography and interviews regarding the age of the building. Collected and used.The results of the research indicate that the components of multi-sensory architecture are among the most prominent features in the most and effective relationship with the design space, and their use in the restoration of a historical building, in addition to maintaining their importance, causes dynamism and communication. It is mostly based on the audience.Considering the type of formation of old Iranian houses and the presence of open and semi-open spaces in the inner parts of the central courtyard, etc., the use of the visual arts gallery, while fitting the physical spirit of the gallery with the nostalgic atmosphere of old houses derived from Iranian architecture, can It represents the artistic aspect of old houses in terms of the quality level of construction and interior spaces.
