Abstract :
The current study aimed to compare the executive functions (Working memory and attention) among Children with ADHD and Normal Children. The current study is casual-comparative research. The statistical population of this study was all students with ADHD who were in pre-primary school in Ardabil city and all normal students in pre-primary school in Ardebil province .Among the students with ADHD, 30 patients were selected and among the normal children 30 were selected by cluster sampling. The data were collected using Short and Revisited Converters Assessment Scale (CPRS-R: S, Toulouse-Pieron’s attentional Test and Wechsler memory test (multiplication). Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, mean and standard deviation, and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results indicated that there was a significant difference (P=0/005) between the two groups in terms of the two variables of the study. These results reveal that working memory and attention in children with ADHD are significantly lower than those of normal children.
