abstract
Solar radiation energy is one of the unlimited and renewable sources in the world, so that today with the increase in energy consumption, the tendency to use renewable energy, especially solar energy, has been considered by researchers in various sciences. The amount of this energy received in different parts of the earth surface depends on various factors such as: longitude and latitude, amount of sunshine hours, humidity, evaporation rate, air temperature, sun angle, etc. Therefore, due to the geographical location of Iran, the tendency to use this energy and also to exploit it more in the country, especially in arid and semi-arid regions that have better conditions than other regions, has increased. Because areas with more vegetation than arid areas and barren lands, albido and less radiant temperatures, the presence of altitudes also play an important role in receiving the highest amount of light, so the potential of these areas to benefit from radiation. The sun rises. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to calculate the amount of solar radiation distribution, exploitation of the most suitable locations for photovoltaic installations and large-scale electricity generation. For this purpose, global solar radiation in the provinces of Khorasan Razavi, Isfahan, Kerman, Yazd, Golestan, Mazandaran and Gilan with an accuracy of 30 meters from the digital elevation model was calculated using Solar Radiation Analysis Tools in ArcGIS software. According to the results, among the selected cities, those cities that were located in arid and semi-arid regions in terms of climatic classification, received the highest amount of solar radiation energy.
