Investigating the factors affecting the flexibility of the residential complex with sustainable architecture approach

Abstract :
    Since the existence of human diversity is natural, it evaluates the unchangeability and immutability of environmental conditions as unfavorable. The architecture of residential units that can adapt to different users in response to different needs as well as environmental changes will be design methods in creating sustainable buildings. Considering the advantages of designing acceptable residential complexes in meeting the changing needs of residents, an acceptable environmental environment allows each person to show his organization according to his lifestyle, culture, behavioral patterns and housing needs. This research has been done with the aim of providing effective solutions in the flexibility of sustainable residential complex. This article is done in a descriptive-analytical way. At first, by studying the sources and library documents, the effective components to improve the quality of the residential environment were discussed and the flexibility component was mentioned as the most important factor. Then different types of flexibility, including diversity, adaptability, and changeability, have been examined and the relevance of the mentioned items to sustainable architecture has been studied, and the solutions and results have been extracted in the form of a conceptual model of the research, and then the mode of operation. Each of the components has been discussed.
