The allusions are about the art of imagination in Persian literature. It should be said, indirectly; which are often clearly and comprehensible to the natives of that language, except in special cases, where it is necessary for them to know social issues, old and new, and to have information in other specialized fields. In addition to everyday conversations, stories and novels are abundantly seen in Poets Divan. Screenplay is also considered an advanced genre and a mutation of written literature. After the play, the field of literature is shown which works along the lines of written literature and reflects the same themes and messages of written literature, this time on the screen of theater and cinema. Because the influence and audience attraction of dramatic literature has increased significantly in the last century. therefore, the screenplay, like poetry and story, is not without the element of allusions, and the author decorates the text with various literary ornaments in the actors’ scenarios, of which irony is undoubtedly one of the most obvious ones. The present essay has investigated the types of irony and its frequency in the dialogues of the movie “Charchangoli” in order to show the beauty of the art of allusions in the case study of the said movie.
