Abstract :
The present work enlightens a novel approach of single step fabrication of CCM@Fe3O4-ZIF-8 as a drug carrier. The synthesized curcumin encapsulated Fe3O4@ZIF-8 core-shell demonstrate ultrahigh drug encapsulation efficiency and good chemical stability. In vitro drug release of curcumin was higher in acidic medium than in physiological pH. Characterization methods, such as PXRD, and TGA, were employed to characterize the curcumin-loaded Fe3O4@ZIF-8 core-shell structure. The results signify that CCM@Fe3O4-ZIF-8 are efficient drug carriers for passive tumor therapy in future for cancer treatments.
