Analysis resilience of the deteriorate textures against natural disasters Case Study: the deteriorate texture of Tehran s District 12

Abstract :
The natural disasters are parts of process of human life, daily increasing their number and diversity, as a major challenge to sustainable development of human societies. Nowadays, the prevailing view has shifted from focusing on reducing vulnerability to increased resilience of disasters. Research issue: due the situation of Tehran s district 12 in metropolitan development, it seems that the conditions of resilience in this texture are inappropriate. Purpose of the study is to measure resilience in deteriorate texture of the Tehran s District 12. Research method: the present research is an applied and descriptive-analytic study. The unit of analysis is household exist in neighborhoods of deteriorate texture of Tehran s District 12. The statistical population is all households living in that texture. The sample size was estimated approximately 369 households using the Cochran formula, by selected randomly. The results of the research show that dimensions of social, economic, physical-environmental and management resilience are inappropriate in deteriorate texture of Tehran s District 12. Finally, by using SWOT method and QSPM technique executive strategies have been proposed to increase resilience deteriorate texture of Tehran s District 12.
