Abstract :
As industry progresses, the human need to energy increases daily. Oil and gas, supply a large part of the human needed energy. The amount of production from reservoirs is very low compared to their real capacity, so enhanced oil recovery (EOR) has found high importance to produce the remaining oil and gas. Several methods developed that each of them can be used in certain conditions of the environment and properties of rock and fluid. This paper explains about usage of EOR methods in the worldwide and investigates some of these conditions. In addition to existing physical criteria to screening EOR methods, there are other constraints in the economic fields such as oil price. To do a successful and high - profit project, all of these economic constraints must also be added to the screening criteria. In the production, the goal is the highest production, with the lowest cost and since each operation has a cost, they have to be carried out precisely. This paper present parts of a good planning to carry out success projects, all of which must be carried out carefully and without any mistake. Also, the positive effects of these projects on environment have been studied.
