Abstract :
In recent years, meta-heuristic algorithms have been developed more accurately and rapidly, In this paper, by introducing a new meta-heuristic method called Artemia optimization algorithm (AOA), the algorithm first considered by space trusses is known as optimization problems.However It is well evaluated and then using parametric and non-parametric statistical tests, the superiority of Artemia optimization algorithm over other widely used metaheuristic algorithms, including particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO), Hybrid particle swarm algorithm(HPSO), colliding bodies optimization algorithm(CBO) And other algorithms are compared. The results show that the Artemia optimization algorithm is able to provide much better results in finding the global minimum of space trusses, convergence speed and local minimum avoidance compared to other comparable algorithms. In addition, this paper presents a real application of the proposed method in the field of structural optimization and performing parametric and non-parametric statistical tests to compare the advantages of meta-heuristic algorithms.
