The opimal ratio of braced story number to total story number in braced tube system

Abstract :
The development in tall buildings has evolved rapidly in recent years. Population from rural areas are migrating in large numbers to metro cities In search of jobs and day today facilities metro cities. Due to this, metro cities are getting densely populated day by day in recent years. As population is getting denser the availability of land is diminishing and cost is also increasing. Hence to overcome these problems multi-story buildings is most prominent and efficient solution. [1] some structural systems has proposed to control of drift and reduce of lateral displacement that the Braced tube system is the best type of these systems that resolve problems had been largely in recent systems. In this system no longer need to create of belts truss and very close columns. Braced tubes, which carry lateral loads by axial actions of the perimeter columns and bracings, are very efficient structural systems for tall buildings. [2] Braced-tube systems can be utilized in steel, reinforced concrete, a composite construction. [3] This paper study on different configurations in 3 different heights of buildings braced tube system has been tried to find the best relation of the braced stories in total number of floors in the building. The studied parameters including maximum displacement and drift story analyzed by ETABS 2013 and the end results are discussed.
