Abstract :
Abstract Resistance against lateral loads is doing with set of moment and braced frame and shear walls. Ratio of each set is evaluated with help of lateral rigidity and interaction of them in all stages. In shear walls of reinforcement concrete the opening is considered for door and window and passing installations. For using interact operation of shear walls of reinforcement concrete in two side at openings there are connective beams to linkage this kind of shear walls of reinforcement concrete . This kind of coupling beams should have necessary rigidity in opposite of lateral loads. If there is no necessary rigidity to collation with lateral loads we will face with large damage against earthquake. Coupling beams not only lateral but also are under the effect of axis loads engendered from their weight because of super elevation. This is beneficial to structural behavior about coupling beams. In this study to increase the ability about coupled shear walls in effect of lateral loads, we are considered beams with different super elevation to analysis against lateral loads. In each sample of considered building to analysis against earthquake force with changing high of coupling beams, we are considered quake behavior of coupled shear walls against earthquake. This buildings with coupling beams in different high are doing to form of two dimension namely modeling and analysis with ETABS software. According to Requirements for Design and Construction of Reinforced Concrete Structures (TS500- 2000) and Regulations on Buildings to be Built in Seismic Zones (TEC, 2007) we are evaluating following instances: shear forces, bending moments, changing lateral side in result of earthquake forces pertinent coupled shear walls and diagonal reinforcement in coupling beams.
