Understanding and Studying the System Dynamics Methodology of Management for the Purpose of Usage in Construction Projects in Iran

Abstract :
In recent years, a large number of studies have been carried out to identify factors affecting safety. The effect of these parameters on each other is a part of these studies which is still unknown and less studied. One of the important tools through which we can identify the effect of these parameters on each other and on the main subject is to simulate the system dynamics. Compared to other industries, the construction industry of Iran has involved more accidents. As a first step to reduce occupational accidents, Iranian construction officials have suggested to those involved that instead of using traditional methods to pay the salaries of workers working in construction projects, they should use the qualitative method of wage payment. Evaluating protection and safety plans is a major task that is assigned to project managers. However, the practical implementation of the qualitative method of wage payment is a difficult and challenging task. Accordingly, this study has been conducted by descriptive and analytical method using documentary and library tools. We have identified and studied the system dynamics methodology of management.
